What I'm building and learning.

My projects combine game development, programming, simulation, automation, environment development, and technical problem-solving. These are the projects that best represent the work I am currently doing.

Learning by building

Most of my technical growth has come from deciding to build something and then learning whatever I need in order to make it work.

That process has taken me from smaller programming experiments into projects involving gameplay systems, procedural environments, simulations, geographic mapping, desktop applications, automation, and debugging more complex systems.

Each project gives me an opportunity to work through problems that I had not encountered before and expand what I am capable of building.

Expanding my toolset

Rather than creating a large list of future project ideas, my current goal is to expand the range of tools and workflows I understand.

I want to continue improving my Unreal Engine skills while also learning tools such as Unity and Blender. Learning additional engines and 3D workflows would give me a broader understanding of how games and interactive environments are created.

I also want to continue improving in programming, environment development, optimization, technical design, and the problem-solving skills needed to take projects from an idea to something playable or usable.
